On the morning of June 9, at the Hall of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province, the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province received and worked with the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA) to discuss about content promoting Vietnamese culinary culture with international friends. Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province; Mr. La Quoc Khanh - Permanent Vice Chairman/Secretary General of VCCA; Mr. Ngo Van Toan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province.
Vietnam Culinary Culture Association (VCCA) came to work in Dong Nai
At the meeting, Mr. La Quoc Khanh - Permanent Vice President/Secretary General of VCCA said that currently VCCA has built a 3-year National Cuisine Strategy Project with 421 dishes bearing the identities of 43 provinces, cities, in which, Dong Nai has 02 dishes (fried sticky rice and grapefruit salad). In the coming time, VCCA plans to continue to complete the Vietnamese culinary culture database with the goal of finding 1,000 typical culinary dishes according to the above criteria in 2023. This data will be used to complete the "Vietnam Cuisine Map" by 2024, moving forward to build a 3D virtual reality-oriented "Vietnamese Cuisine Museum" and a "Real Cuisine Museum" to serve visitors domestically and internationally.
Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province expressed his thanks to VCCA for paying attention to the culinary culture of Dong Nai province. He wishes to develop and promote Dong Nai culinary culture to international friends through VCCA, thereby connecting Dong Nai people with people of the world.
