The 2nd Congress of Provincial Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association

On January 7, at Golden Lotus Restaurant, the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association held its 2nd Congress in Dong Nai province, term 2020 - 2025, with the theme: "Active - Flexible - Creative - Practical – Effective” in organization and operation of the Association.

Donating 15,000 masks to the Consulate General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City

On the morning of May 12, the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of the province organized a delegation to the Consulate General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City to offer 15,000 medical masks, which were donated by its officials and members.

People-to-people Diplomacy - the Foundation for the Development of the Cooperative Relationship between Vietnam and Thailand

Vietnam and Thailand are the two countries in Southeast Asia with similar cultures and a longlasting friendship. The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1976 and began to prosper it after Prime Minister Pham Van Dong’s official visit to Thailand in September 1978, especially since 2013 when Vietnam and Thailand officially upgraded relations to a Strategic Partnership, bringing the bilateral relations to a new height of development.

People-to-people exchange will set the basis to develop Thailand-Vietnam cooperation

This is the comment made by Thai Consul General to Hồ Chí Minh City Apirat Sugondhabirom in the get-together hosted by the Vietnam-Thailand Friendship Association on April 28th at Phước Sơn monastery (located in Biên Hòa city). The get-together came on the occasion of the Thai traditional New Year Songkran.

Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of Dong Nai province conference promotes the initiative spirit, plays a good role as a bridge to connect and to promote people exchange.

Việt Nam và Thái Lan là hai nước có nhiều điểm tương đồng về lịch sử và văn hóa, hiện nay quan hệ giữa Việt Nam và Thái Lan đang có những bước hợp tác bền vững trên hầu hết các lĩnh vực, đặc biệt là kinh tế và văn hóa. Cùng gìn giữ và phát huy mối quan hệ hữu nghị tốt đẹp của hai nước, năm 2015, Ủy Ban Nhân dân tỉnh Đồng Nai đã thành lập Hội hữu nghị Việt Nam – Thái Lan tỉnh, từ đó các hoạt động của Hội trở thành cầu nối, tạo sự gắn kết về văn hóa thúc đẩy phát triển quan hệ hợp tác, đoàn kết, hữu nghị giữa nhân dân tỉnh Đồng Nai với Tổng lãnh sự quán Thái Lan, doanh nghiệp Thái Lan tại Đồng Nai.

The Kingdom of Thailand’s National Day Celebration

On November 30, 2017, Dong Nai Uninon of Friendship Organizations (the Union) in coordination with the Provincial Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Association (the Association) celebrated the Kingdom of Thailand’s National Day. Ms. Ureerat Ratanaprukse – Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of Dong Nai’s departments, sectors, unions and members of the Association attended the event.
