Vietnam - Japan friendship exchange festival
In the morning of October 8, 2022, at the Tran Bien Temple of Literature, the Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of Dong Nai province organized the Vietnam - Japan friendship exchange festival in 2022. Attending the exchange program were Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. KUSAKA Masatoshi - Deputy Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City; leaders of provincial departments, sectors, branches; Lac Hong University, Sonadezi College of Technology and Administration; Japanese enterprises in the province.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Chairman of the provincial Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association said: On September 21, 1973, Japan and Vietnam officially established diplomatic relations. Over the past time, the two countries have continued to build a long-standing traditional relationship, always attaching importance to and developing cultural exchange activities, creating mutual understanding and trust towards comprehensive human development. The year 2023 marks an important historical milestone of 50 years of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan. It is expected that many friendship exchange activities will be held, which will be the bridge to build the relationship of peace, solidarity, friendship and development between the peoples of the two countries.

On this occasion, participants in the program were allowed to visit and offer incense to Tran Bien Temple of Literature, have music exchanges between Vietnam and Japan, display paintings and books introducing cultures of the two countries, etc. At the event, the organizers also awarded 22 prizes of the painting contest "Strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Japan" which was held earlier on the occasion of celebrating the anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Among these, 2 first prizes were awarded to Tong Ngoc Bao Tran (4th grade, Quang Vinh Primary School) and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Quyen (8th grade, Nguyen Binh Khiem Secondary School) Bien Hoa City.
