On October 14, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations in coordination with Dong Nai Radio and Television successfully organized the 4th Dong Nai province Friendship Melodies Festival with the participation of 30 performances of 10 member friendship associations under Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations.

Attending the opening ceremony of the Festival were Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh, Member of the provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies and sectors, organizations of the province; leaders of agencies and units with affiliated friendship associations and more than 200 actors, actressess and performance troupes of 10 member friendship associations participated in the Festival.

In the Festival, members of 10 friendship associations with the relations between Vietnam and Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Russian Federation, France, United States, China and ASEAN performed 10 art programs with many genres: dance, song and dance, group singing, solo singing, instrumental choir. The performances in the program combine Vietnamese music with music from countries corresponding to each member friendship association.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri – President of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations - Head of the Festival Organizing Committee said “The Festival is an annual activity which has been widely deployed by Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations to its member Friendship Associations for 4 years. This year, with a vibrant and positive atmosphere towards the 10th Anniversary of the establishment of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations, the friendship associations have selected the best and most unique performances to attend the Festival. At the end of the Festival, the outstanding and unique performances will be selected to perform and exchange at a larger playground with the Union of Friendship Organizations in provinces and cities in Cluster No. 4 of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and Exchange Program with Consulates General of other countries in Ho Chi Minh City on November 9 and 10, 2023 in Tay Ninh province”.

According to Head of the Jury Nguyen Van Quyet, the quality of each art program this year showed investment and care, from costumes to display on stage. Many performances brought viewers excitement when expressing new ideas in staging and performance.

Through the performances, the teams conveyed the unique cultural features of the countries through language, costumes, traditional melodies... many performances made a strong impression when expressing the lyrics and singing of many languages ​​as well as bilingual combination, boldly demonstrating the solidarity and friendship between the Vietnamese people and the people of other countries.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee and the Jury selected the 03 best performances representing Dong Nai province Union of Friendship to participate in the Friendship Melodies Festival of Cluster 4 including: Duet of the 16-string zither and bamboo flute, combined with the dancing performance introducing Thanh Hoa ceramic bamboo (Vietnam - China Friendship Association); Solo performance “Spring cherry blossoms" (Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association); Performance “Conical hat dance" (Vietnam - Russian Federation Friendship Association).
