​On the afternoon of December 29, the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province (DUFO) organized a Conference of officials, civil servants, and staff in 2023. Attending the Conference were Ms. Bui Thi Lieu – Secretary of the Party Cell, Standing Vice Chairwoman of DUFO; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri - Chairman of DUFO; Ms. Tran Thuy Tien, Head of the Grassroots Trade Union, General Secretary cum Chief of Office – External Information under DUFO and Comrades, officials, civil servants and staff of DUFO.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri emphasized “the Conference of cadres, civil servants and staff is an opportunity to promote the ownership of cadres, civil servants and staff and enhance roles and responsibilities of leaders in implementing democratic regulations in the agency's operations; gathering and mobilizing the collective strength and creative capacity of each individual; contributing to building a civilized and strong organization”.

The Conference approved the summary report on the operational results in 2023 and the direction of key tasks in 2024; Report on emulation and reward affairs in 2023 and mission, directions in 2024; Report to the People's Inspection Board in 2023 and mission, directions in 2024; DUFO’s financial report in 2023; Report on implementation of the 2023 Democracy Regulations; Regulations on internal spending, management and use of public assets in 2024. In addition, the Conference also received many ideas from officials, civil servants, and staff about their efforts and efforts in the process of organizing the implementation of assigned tasks, suggestions for improvement in coordination, measures and solutions to promote the spirit of initiative, flexibility, creativity and efficiency for the implementation of the assigned tasks in the coming time.

The Conference also launched the emulation movement in 2024, emulation titles for collectives and individuals and signed an emulation agreement between DUFO’s leaders and the Trade Union Executive Committee in 2024. On this occasion, the leaders of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations awarded Certificates of Merit as well as advanced labor titles, grassroots emulation soldiers, etc to groups and individuals.
