​On February 2, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) organized the Conference of the Executive Committee to deploy people-to-people diplomacy afffairs in 2024. Attending the Conference were Mr. Cao Van Quang - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, Chairman of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association of the province; Mr. Vo Van Phi – Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Hoang Khanh Van - Chief of the Southern Representative Office, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.

In 2023, the Executive Committee of DUFO has agreed and joined forces to implement the year's tasks in a unified, synchronous and effective manner. Outstanding achievements are the results of foreign non-governmental aid mobilization: implementing 26 programs and projects with a total funding commitment value of over 109,841 billion dongs, increasing 2 aid amounts and about 37.7 billion dongs of the value of funding commitments (up 70.8%, reaching 158% of the planned target) compared to the same period in 2022. In addition, the fields of peace, solidarity, friendship and external information and propaganda affairs have contributed to promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam and Dong Nai province to the world; simultaneously, raising awareness for party committees and authorities about people-to-people diplomacy...

In 2024, Dong Nai province people - to - people diplomacy has set out 38 main tasks, which focus on the organization of the 3rd Congress (term 2024 - 2029) of DUFO and activities such as: Contest on study and understandings about people-to-people diplomacy in Dong Nai province, Signing on coordination regulations with departments, agencies to continue improving the quality of people - to - people diplomacy activities, and support member friendship associations to develop further promote proactiveness in association activities.

At the Conference, the representatives of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Foreign Non-Governmental Affairs Division, Excellent Labor Collective and Certificates of Merit to 02 collectives of the Office – External Relations Information and Foreign Non-Governmental Affairs Division, Certificates of Merit for 03 individuals.
