On October
9, 2024, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with
Dong Nai General Hospital and Hyosung Vietnam Co., Ltd (as the sponsor) to
organize a ceremony to receive and donate 100 medical wheelchairs worth 300
million dong to patients in the hospital, victims of Agent Orange/dioxin,
people with disabilities and individuals of policy households, in difficult
circumstances and in urgent need of wheelchairs.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Viet
Thang - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations,
Deputy Director of Dong Nai province Department of External Relations; Ms. Vo
Thi Ngoc Lam - Deputy Director of Dong Nai province Department of Health;
Colonel Nguyen Thi Thanh Van - Standing Vice President of Dong Nai province
Former People's Public Security Association;
Ms. Ngo Thi Nhan - Vice President of Dong Nai province Association for Victims
of Agent Orange/Dioxin; Mr. Ngo Duc Tuan - Director of Dong Nai General
Hospital.
Accordingly, Dong Nai General Hospital received
50 wheelchairs. Dong Nai province Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin
and Dong Nai province Former People's Public Security Association
received 30 and 20 wheelchairs, respectively.
