On May 24, 2024, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee issued a Decision on approving
the foreign non-governmental aid project which is "Child Development
Scholarship Programme - Enhancing educational access opportunities for children
in difficult circumstances in Dong Nai province for the period from 2023 to 2024"
in combination with “Providing early intervention for children
with Autism Spectrum Disorder
(ASD) and other neurodevelopmental
disorders" in Cam

Saigon Children's Charity CIO and Dong Nai province Union of Friendship
Organizations signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the project “Enhancing
educational access opportunities for children in difficult circumstances in
Dong Nai province”
The Project aims to support
preschool teachers in practicing how to use autism spectrum disorder screening
tools to screen children of preschool age. Some parents were advised on how to
provide intervention support for their children at home. More than 100
preschool children will be screened for autism spectrum disorder by trained
preschool teachers together with experts’ supervision and support.
The total cost of project
implementation is 207,810,000 VNĐ, the project implementation period is valid
since Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee has approved to receive aid until the
end of December 2024.
Accordingly, the People's
Committee of Dong Nai province assigns Division of Education and Training under Cam My
District People’s Committee as the project owner which has the responsibility to receive the aid and conduct
the project according to financial management principles, etc. based on the
provisions of Decree No. 80/2020/NĐ-CP dated July 8, 2020 of the Government,
Decision No. 12/2023/QĐ-UBND dated March 31, 2023 of the People's Committee of
Dong Nai province, Circular No. 23/2022/TT -BTC dated April 6, 2022 of the
Ministry of Finance...
