The conference was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Ben Tre Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Truc Son, representative of the Southern Office - Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations and members of Cluster 4.

The overview of the Conference

In the first 6 months of 2023, members of Cluster 4 actively advised the local authorities on leading and directing documents on people-to-people diplomacy. At the same time preside over and closely coordinate with departments, sectors and member associations to successfully organize many friendship and cultural exchange events with the people of other countries with diverse contents and forms.

Foreign non-governmental affairs is also well implemented. Despite many changes in the world context, resources from foreign non-governmental organizations were deployed throughout Cluster 4 members out of 70 aid amounts with a total committed funding of about VND 165 billion.

At the Conference, representatives of Friendship Unions shared their experiences in external information affairs, in the implementation of people-to-people diplomacy tasks in the first 6 months of 2023, difficulties and obstacles in the process of operating and carrying out the work on overseas Vietnamese... In which, there are many models and good ways to learn. The conference combining preliminary review and experience sharing helped spread the effectiveness and support each other during the operation of the Cluster.
