On November 30, 2024, at Lac Hong University, Dong Nai province Union of
Friendship Organizations, Dong Nai province Vietnam - Japan Friendship
Association and Lac Hong University jointly organized the 2024 Vietnam – Japan
Friendship Cultural Exchange Program in celebration of the 51st Anniversary of diplomatic
relations between Vietnam and Japan, expressed congratulation on the success of the 3rd
Congress of the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province, term
2024 – 2029.

Attending the Program, there were Mr. FURUDATE Seiki - Deputy Consul
General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. MIYACHI Orie, Head of Cultural
Department, Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Thanh
Tri - President of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr.
Nguyen Viet Thang - Deputy Director of Dong Nai province Department of External
Relations; Ms. Duong Thi Xuan Nuong - Deputy Head of Dong Nai Industrial Zones
Authority; Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Chairman of the Vietnam - Japan Friendship
Association of Dong Nai province and representatives of Lac Hong University,
Sonadezi College of Technology and Management, Japanese businesses in the province,
leaders of friendship associations and 150 members of the Association who
participate in cultural performances, culinary exchanges, and visit exhibitions
of paintings, enjoy haiku and luc bat poems with the topic of Vietnam - Japan
friendship made by the students of Dong Nai province...

Speaking at the Program, Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Chairman of the Vietnam -
Japan Friendship Association of the province expressed his thanks to Mr.
FURUDATE Seiki - Deputy Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City for his
arrangement to attend the 2024 Vietnam – Japan Friendship Cultural Exchange
Program. Through the exchange activities, this program helps people of
the two countries have a clearer view and more understanding of Vietnamese and
Japanese culture; thereby, contributing to building and cultivating the good
traditional friendship between the people of the two countries.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri - Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri - President

of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the Program, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations and
Dong Nai province Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association awarded 44 prizes to
pupils and students who achieved high scores in “the 2024 Vietnam - Japan Painting Contest”, “the 2024
Haiku and Luc Bat Poetry Writing Contest” and the 2024 Japanese Speech Contest.
