On the morning of March 27, 2026, at the headquarters of Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai Province (VUFO Dong Nai), the Provincial Viet Nam – Korea Friendship Association held a working session with a delegation from Buyeo County, Chungcheongnam-do Province (South Korea) to discuss friendship exchange programs and human resource supply.
Representing Dong Nai province were Mr. Nguyen Viet Thang – Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of VUFO Dong Nai; Ms. Tran Thuy Tien – Vice President of VUFO Dong Nai; and Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh – President of the Viet Nam – Korea Friendship Association of Dong Nai. On the Buyeo County, Chungcheongnam-do Province side were representatives from Dinao Korea International Education Company.
An overview of the working session
During the meeting, the Buyeo County representatives shared an overview of their socio-economic development, key strengths, and potential for cooperation with Dong Nai. The discussion focused on establishing an official partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in the near future. A key topic detailed during the session was the plan to send laborers from Dong Nai to work in Buyeo County. This program aims not only to meet the human resource needs of the South Korean side but also to provide opportunities for local workers to access professional working environments, increase their income, and enhance their vocational skills.
Speaking at the meeting, leaders of the Provincial Viet Nam - Korea Friendship Association affirmed they would actively coordinate and act as a bridge to ensure the discussed contents are soon put into practice. Strengthening friendship exchanges and labor cooperation with Buyeo County is expected to further deepen the Viet Nam – South Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in general, and the friendship between Dong Nai and South Korean localities in particular.
The working session concluded in an open atmosphere, promising many practical and effective cooperation programs in the coming time.
