DUFO participates in a delegation of leaders from Dong Nai province visiting, working and conveying wishes for the traditional New Year in Laos and Cambodia
 In a friendly atmosphere and with deep neighborly solidarity, the delegation of leaders from Dong Nai province, led by Mr. Cao Tien Dung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Commission of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, visited, worked, and conveyed good wishes for the traditional New Year in Champasak province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) and Kampong Thom province (Kingdom of Cambodia) in early April. The delegation also included comrades: Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Hang - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ho Van Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders from the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Education and Training, Office of the Provincial Party Committee; Commission of Propaganda and Mass Mobilization of Bien Hoa City; Representing the leadership of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations, Comrade Tran Thuy Tien - Vice President joined the delegation.

This is an annual activity of Dong Nai province that not only reflects the deep concern of the leaders and people of Dong Nai towards neighboring countries but also serves as evidence of the continuous efforts to consolidate and develop the long-standing traditional friendship. The visit is an opportunity for Dong Nai leaders to extend best wishes for the New Year, share information about the socio-economic development situation of the province, and discuss future cooperation directions.

On behalf of the leadership of Dong Nai province and the working delegation, Comrade Cao Tien Dung extended New Year wishes for health, happiness, success, and all the best to the leaders and people of Champasak province. He also expressed deep condolences to the Party Committee, government, and people of Champasak province on the passing of General Khamtay Siphandone, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, former President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and a veteran revolutionary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.


Comrade Cao Tien Dung provided information on the socio-economic development situation of Dong Nai and emphasized that the friendly cooperative relationship between the two provinces, established in 2011, has yielded many positive results, especially in the field of education, with Dong Nai’s scholarships for Champasak students to study at universities and colleges in Dong Nai and cultural exchange activities. Comrade Cao Tien Dung congratulated the development of Champasak Province and expressed a desire to continue promoting and enhancing this special cooperative relationship.2025-TET LAO CAM2.jpg

In response, Comrade Saithong Xayavong sincerely thanked the leaders of Dong Nai province for their kind wishes and expressed appreciation for the friendly cooperation that Dong Nai has extended to Champasak. The comrade also provided information about the socio-economic development situation of the province and expressed the desire for the two provinces to continue nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries of Vietnam and Laos.

At the meeting, Comrade Cao Tien Dung extended the best New Year wishes to the leaders and people of Kampong Thom province. He also provided information about the socio-economic development situation in Dong Nai province and emphasized the traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, sustainable, and long-term relations between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and between Dong Nai and Kampong Thom in particular. Mr. Diep Piry sincerely thanked the leaders of Dong Nai for their good wishes on the occasion of Cambodia's traditional New Year. He also informed about the socio-economic development situation of Kampong Thom province and expressed the desire for the two provinces to continue building solidarity, friendship, and increasingly sustainable cooperation.

The working trip were very successful, On this occasion, leaders of Dong Nai province not only convey good wishes for the new year but also further strengthen the solid foundation for the traditional friendship and open up potential cooperation opportunities in the coming time.
