​Saigon Children’s Charity CIO provides early intervention for preschool students showing signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders in Cam My district, Dong Nai province.

On May 12, 2025, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued a decision on approval of the grant for the non-project “Providing early intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders" in Cam My district, Dong Nai province," funded by the Saigon Children’s Charity CIO (SCC), of British nationality.

Saigon Children’s Charity CIO is implementing a screening for children with signs of autism spectrum disorder in Cam My district in 2024.

It is known that the funding is managed by the People's Committee of Cam My district for implementation at the following schools: Song Ray Kindergarten, Xuan Tay Kindergarten, and Hoa Sen Kindergarten, with a total project budget of 388,500,000 dongs. The project will be carried out since Dong Nai provincial People's Committee approves the receipt of the funding until December 30, 2025. The direct beneficiaries of the project are 15 preschool students showing signs of autism spectrum disorder who are studying at Song Ray Kindergarten, Hoa Sen Kindergarten, and Xuan Tay Kindergarten.

The goal of the project is to provide early intervention support for preschool students with signs of autism spectrum disorder and to guide parents on some early intervention skills for their children at home, contributing to the promotion of children's development during the golden period, as well as enhancing support for children in later stages.

Accordingly, the Dong Nai provincial People's Committee assigns the Cam My District People's Committee the responsibility to receive, implement, and manage the grant according to Decree No. 80/2020/NĐ-CP dated July 8, 2020 issued by the Government on the management and use of non-refundable aid not in the form of official development assistance from foreign agencies, organizations, and individuals for Vietnam, and Decision No. 12/2023/QĐ-UBND dated March 31, 2023 issued by the provincial People's Committee on the regulations for the management and use of non-refundable aid not in the form of official development assistance from foreign agencies, organizations, and individuals for Vietnam in Dong Nai province.
