​In mid-June, receiving the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Anhui Provincial People’s Government  (China), the Vietnam - China Friendship Association and representatives of the Union of Organizations Friendship, Department of External Relations of Dong Nai province participated in “the 2023 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum in Huangshan, Anhui” thereby enhancing understanding and promoting friendship relations and development cooperation between the People of Dong Nai Province, Vietnam and the People of Anhui Province, China, contributing to well implementing the consistent views of the leaders of the two Parties and the two States on the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.

The working delegation was led by comrade Bui Quang Huy, Dong Nai province Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee of agencies’ Bloc, Chairman of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Dong Nai province. The delegation participated in “the 2023 RCEP Local Governments and Friendship Cities Cooperation (Huangshan) Forum in Huangshan, Anhui” from June 8 to June 11, 2023.

During this trip, the delegation met and discussed with leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs and representatives of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Anhui province to introduce the situation of people – to – people diplomacy of Dong Nai province ( Vietnam) and of the provincial Vietnam - China Friendship Association. Representative of Anhui Province Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Ms. Thoi Bao Binh expected to be twinned with Dong Nai province to carry out people-to-people exchange work well; at the same time, expressed her desire to promote the friendship cooperative relationship between the two countries

Also during this trip, the delegation attended "the RCEP Member Cities Dialogue " and gave a presentation on the topic "Smart Cities", participated in the " the RCEP members’ Cultural Tourism Industry Cooperation Symposium" and visited local cultural and tourism exhibitions at the locality.

Through the business trip, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Dong Nai province wishes to build a friendship relationship with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of An Hui province and the Department of Foreign Affairs of the People's Government of Anhui province. Thereby, it is a bridge for the two localities to strengthen cooperation in economic, education, trade, services development... contributing to building and developing the sentiments, solidarity and friendship between the people of the two countries in general, and the people of Dong Nai province and the people of Anhui province in particular.
