​Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations has successfully coordinated with Dong Nai province Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association to organize the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Exchange Program. Attending the event were Mr. Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich - Consul General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Nguyen Dang Phat - Vice President cum General Secretary of the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association, Editor-in-Chief of Bach Duong Magazine; Mr. Pham Xuan Ha - Member of Dong Nai province Party Standing Committee, Head of Dong Nai province Party Committee's Propaganda Commission, Chairman of Dong Nai province Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association and approximately 200 delegates who are leaders of agencies and units of the province, as well as officials and members of the Association.

The exchange program took place with various interesting activities such as: an exhibition space, showcasing images of Vietnam-Russia people-to-people diplomacy activities in Dong Nai, introducing the Tri An Hydropower Plant – a mark of Vietnam-Russia friendship in Dong Nai, and many representative images of the friendly relationship between the two countries over the past time; cultural exchanges reflecting the friendship of the peoples of both countries with the lively performances of the artists' association branch under the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Dong Nai province and members from the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province.

At the program, the President of Dong Nai province Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association, Pham Xuan Ha, stated that this is an opportunity for the association's members to meet, interact, and exchange opinions to contribute to the association's activities for further development in the future; it is also an opportunity for the association's staff and members to express and share the beautiful cultural traits of Vietnam - Russia with the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.

The Consul General of the Russian Federation in Ho Chi Minh City, Sadykov Timur Sirozhevich, also emphasized the importance of friendship associations in significantly contributing to the development of people-to-people diplomacy between the two countries.
