On
January 13, 2025, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations (DUFO)
received and worked with a delegation from the Red Circle Company Limited (referred
to in the singular as “Circle K Vietnam”) and the Hong Kong Business
Association in Vietnam to prepare a plan for the implementation of a project to
install water purifier machines and
provide scholarships for disadvantaged students in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai
province.

The Red Circle Company Limited and the
Hong Kong Business Association in Vietnam came to work in Dong Nai
Attending the meeting were Ms. Tran Thuy Tien – Vice President of Dong Nai
province Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Luu Thi Hang – Deputy Head of
the Division of Education and Training under People’s Committee of Bien Hoa
city, Ms. Ngo Phuong Thao – Director of External Relations of the Red Circle Company
Limited, Ms. Ly Kiet Oanh – Executive Secretary of the Hong Kong Business
Association in Vietnam, and Ms. Fong Chong Mei Elizabeth – Secretary of the
Rotary Club.
At the meeting, Ms. Fong Chong Mei Elizabeth – Secretary of the Rotary Club
shared that they would support students in Dong Nai, and the water purifier machines would be
installed according to the actual needs of each school. The Rotary Club would coordinate
with the Red Circle Company Limited and the Hong Kong Business Association in
Vietnam to implement the project in Dong Nai.

The
Red Circle Company Limited and the Hong Kong Business Association in Vietnam did
a survey at Tran Van On Primary School in Buu Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City.
The Vice President of Dong Nai province
Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Tran Thuy Tien, expressed her gratitude
to the sponsors for their concern for underprivileged children in the province
and committed to creating favorable conditions for the Red Circle Company
Limited and the Hong Kong Business Association in Vietnam to implement the aid
locally.
After the meeting, the delegation surveyed at two secondary schools: Tan Hanh
Secondary School (located in Tan Hanh Commune, Bien Hoa City) and Tran Van On
Primary School (located in Buu Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City), which have a need for
the installation of drinking water filtration systems for students in Bien Hoa
City.
