of Friendship Organizations, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio and Television
held a Preliminary Conference to summarize 4 years of the implementation of the
coordination program on people-to-people diplomacy for the 2020 - 2024 period.

According to the report, in the past 4 years, Dong Nai
province Union of Friendship Organizations and its member associations have
organized more than 120 important people - to - people diplomacy events,
celebrated the Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, the
countries’ National Day and other people - to - people exchange and cultural activities...
with rich and vibrant content.
These activities have helped agencies coordinate smoothly
in propagandizing and popularizing information. Dong Nai Radio and Television
and Dong Nai Newspaper have published nearly 1,000 news, articles, reports,
interviews, clips, and increased the duration of the Friendship Page and
Friendship Bridge Column in many different languages. … Thereby, these
activities have promoted the images of the country and people of Dong Nai,
investment attraction policies, and achievements of the province; simultaneously,
helped raise awareness and responsibility of authorities at all levels in the
province regarding people - to - people diplomacy.
In addition, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship
Organizations also proactively updates information directly by speeches,
presentations, using visual forms such as hoardings, banners, video reports,
exhibitions at events, social platforms, conferences and many contests; and
published approximately 9,000,000 Friendship Bulletins to propagate people-to-people
diplomacy and the relationship between Vietnam and countries in the world.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai
province People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung highly appreciated and commended Dong
Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai
Radio and Television. Thanks to the initiative and close coordination, these agencies
have actively contributed to the effective implementation of socio-economic development
goals and people-to-people diplomacy program including external information
work issued by the Provincial People's Committee every year.

requested that, in the coming time, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship
Organizations, Dong Nai Newspaper, Dong Nai Radio and Television need to
continue to proactively improve the quality and effectiveness of external
information work according to the motto: "proactive, synchronous, timely,
creative, effective"; enhance innovative content, methods and thinking
about external information work; organize exchange activities to promote the
images of the country and people of Vietnam and Dong Nai province to the world;
contributing to creating and gaining consensus and support from the people and
the international community ...

On this occasion, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship
Organizations rewarded 03 collectives and 05 individuals that made positive
contributions in implementing the coordination program. In addition, Dong Nai
province Union of Friendship Organizations presented 79 awards to individuals
and groups with high prizes at the 5th "Dong Nai Province
Friendship Melodies" Festival in 2024, the 2024 Bilingual Media Product
Design Contest on the history, culture, land and people of Dong Nai province and
the 2024 Contest on study and understandings about people - to -
people diplomacy in Dong Nai province.
