On the
morning of January 11, 2024, in Bien Hoa city, the Dong Nai province Union of
Friendship Organizations (DUFO) held a meeting with relevant agencies to
discuss and agree on the contents of the documents of the Child Development
Scholarship Program to be impplemented in
Dong Nai province, for the period from 2024 to 2028, which is sponsored by
Saigon Children's Charity CIO (SCC/UK), with a total implementation value of more
than 14.4 billion dongs. Attending the meeting were Ms. Bui Thi Lieu - Vice
President of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations, Mr. Do Dang
Bao Linh - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, Ms.
Nguyen Thi Duy Huong - Head of Programmes of SCC.
At the
meeting, Vice President of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations,
Ms. Bui Thi Lieu, expressed her gratitude to SCC for their company with the students
in difficult circumstances in the province. As the focal agency for foreign
non-governmental affairs, DUFO will accompany and support and create the most
favourable conditions for SCC to develop the Child Development Scholarship
Program for the period from 2024 to 2028.

Saigon Children Charity CIO working

Mr. Do Dang Bao Linh - Deputy
Director of the Department of Education and Training agreed with the document
contents of the Child Development Scholarship Program in Dong Nai province,
period 2024 - 2028 sponsored by SCC. The program will contribute to improving
and enhancing living conditions, creating educational opportunities for poor
children, children at risk of dropping out of school or with no conditions to
go to school in Dong Nai province.

Thi Duy Huong expressed her thanks to Dong Nai province Union of Friendship
Organizations for the careful arrangement to receive the delegation of SCC.
After the meeting, SCC will revise the content of the documents discussed at
the meeting and applied the program to the Department of Education and Training
with the support of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations. The program
is expected to be approved soon in
February of 2024 so that students in difficult circumstances can continue to
receive scholarships of the program.
