​On December 28, 2023, at the Golden Lotus Restaurant, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations in collaboration with Dong Nai Radio - Television, Dong Nai Newspaper, Department of Planning and Investment and Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority organized the 3-year preliminary meeting on the implementation of coordination plans and programs in people-to-people diplomacy afffairs. Attending the meeting were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang - Member of Dong Nai Province Party’s Committee, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Province People's Committee and leaders of provincial departments, agencies, sectors and organizations.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and evaluated the Report on the 3 - year results of the implementation of the coordination programs and plans in people-to-people diplomacy affairs. Accordingly, information and propaganda products ensure compliance with the policies and directions of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, the Steering Committee for external information work and the Provincial People's Committee. The content is diverse, rich, timely, and accurate, contributing to innovating and improving the effectiveness of the province's people-to-people diplomacy in the new situation, while promoting Dong Nai's images to international friends.

In addition, the programs are focused on improving, innovating, increasing duration, and changing many appropriate programs. Dong Nai Radio - Television and Dong Nai Newspaper have also published more than 600 news, articles, and reports, interviews ..., enhanced pages and columns in many different languages. The content is rich, suitable for many audiences, readers. The number of news and articles is relatively large, transmitted in both Vietnamese, English and Chinese; contributing to promoting the province's images to foreign countries and overseas Vietnamese; fighting and refuting the distorted arguments of hostile forces against the Party, the State and the great national unity bloc.

Regarding foreign non-governmental affairs, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations with the Department of Planning and Investment and Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority have proactively and uniformly coordinated in mobilizing businesses to participate in social responsibility. They are provided with categories and projects in each specific field and area, which has created favorable conditions for them to participate autonomously and to check and monitor the effectiveness of business funding; encouraging businesses to actively contribute to sustainable development in the community.

In the past 3 years, Dong Nai province has received attention, cooperation, responsible and effective support from foreign non-governmental organizations, economic groups, associations and the FDI business community. The sponsorship value is higher than the previous year. In particular, during the outbreak of the pandemic, the FDI business community in Dong Nai province, in addition to good care of workers' lives and health, has maintained on-site production, made positive contributions to the province's pandemic prevention and control, joined hands and hearts with the provincial government to solve difficulties, clearly demonstrating its social responsibility.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai province People's Committee warmly praised and acknowledged the efforts of all 5 coordinating agencies. Thanks to their initiative and close coordination, they have actively contributed to the effective implementation of socio-economic development goals and the Program of the Steering Committee for external information work, the Program on foreign non-governmental aid mobilization and cooperation promotion in Dong Nai province for the period 2019 - 2025. As a result, for 3 years, Dong Nai province has attracted 132 amounts of aid and support from foreign non-governmental organizations, associations and FDI enterprises with a total funding commitment value of more than 11.6 million USD, equivalent to 279 billion VND; including, 76 supports of FDI enterprises participating in social responsibility with a budget of 44.6 billion dongs.
