Exchange Conference with Vietnamese and Cambodian business clubs
On May 12, 2023, in Buon Ma Thuot city, the Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association in coordination with Vietnam - Cambodia Business Club organized the 2023 Exchange Conference with Vietnamese and Cambodian business clubs.
Attending the conference were nearly 200 delegates who are leaders of the Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association; Provincial leaders and representatives of agencies, departments and sectors of Dak Lak province, Khmer Language Center, representatives of the Liaison Committee of Vietnamese Former Experts, Voluntary Veterans who used to work and join in the battlefields in Cambodia, leaders of friendship associations and Vietnam - Cambodia Business Clubs in several provinces and cities and many members of the Association.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Le Hong Liem - Vice Chairman of the Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association (in charge of the South area), Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Business Club said that the Conference is an opportunity to look back on the club's performance over the past time, at the same time exchange information and share experiences in order to strengthen connections, further tighten the spirit of solidarity, trust and cooperation among the Businessmen and Business Clubs under the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association at all levels and among club members, businessmen and businesses across all regions of the country.
Ms. H'Yim Kdoh, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province, Chairwoman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Dak Lak province delivered a welcome speech at the Conference and shared information about the local socio-economic development, highlighted the potentials and strengths of Dak Lak province; at the same time clearly stated that the leaders of Dak Lak province are very interested in the activities of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association in general and of the Vietnam - Cambodia Business Clubs in particular; She commented: “The Exchange Conference with Vietnamese and Cambodian business clubs held in the province is an opportunity for local agencies, departments, sectors, and businesses, especially in Dak Lak province, to learn more information, raise awareness, gain more skills, as well as to interact, cooperate and exchange information, experience and give advice to support Vietnamese businesses investing in Cambodia and vice versa. This is the premise to build and develop the Vietnam - Cambodia Business Club, strengthen cooperation with the Cambodia - Vietnam Business Club.

At the Exchange Conference, businessmen and business representatives spoke, exchanged and shared experiences in organizing production and business activities, connecting trade, improving efficiency in production and business activities; shared experiences in establishing, developing members, organizing, consolidating, and improving the quality of operations of local business and business clubs; and agreed to readily support and help each other in production and business.
Vietnam - Cambodia Business Club was established in 2008, and has now grown to more than 200 small and medium-sized enterprises, operating in many fields, including nearly 1/4 of enterprises with business relationship with Cambodia.

Over the past time, businesses have closely followed the operating principles, been proactive, explored investment opportunities, expanded cooperation with foreign businesses as well as joined forces, contributed resources, supported and helped Cambodian people in many ways, contributing to fostering and strengthening the special traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia.
