Executive Committee of Vietnam - China Friendship Association Branch of Thanh Binh Commune for the 1^st term from 2023 to 2028

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the People's Republic of China officially established diplomatic relations in 1950. For more than 73 years, the traditional friendship has been continuously consolidated and promoted, meeting the aspirations and interests of both parties. Over the years, on the basis of the good traditional relationship, Dong Nai province has established and built cooperative relationships in various fields for a long time with many Chinese localities, such as Jiangsu province, Nanjing province and Ningbo city, Zhejiang province. In the economic field, up to now, Dong Nai province has 162 Chinese enterprises and 272 Taiwanese (Chinese) enterprises with a total registered investment capital of more than 7.4 billion USD operating in production and business, more than 3000 Chinese and Taiwanese (Chinese) experts and workers working in Dong Nai.

Besides, Dong Nai is a province with a large population of Chinese people (with nearly 25,000 households, more than 130,000 people), in which Thanh Binh commune, Trang Bom district is home to a large number of Chinese ethnic minority. The Chinese people in the province have made certain contributions to the province's socio-economic development, created diversity and cultural interference among the people of Dong Nai and the people of other regions and localities of China.

The establishment of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association Branch of Thanh Binh commune, under the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Dong Nai province - a social organization operating in the field of people-to-people diplomacy, striving for the goal of peace and development, the promotion of solidarity and friendship, and the enhancement of cooperation between the Vietnamese people and the Chinese people are necessary and appropriate to the actual situation of Dong Nai. It contributes to the effective implementation of the people-to-people diplomacy at the grassroots according to the functions and tasks proposed by the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of the province  by building and strengthening the relationship of solidarity, friendship, cooperation, cultural and sports exchanges among the people of Thanh Binh commune and neighboring communes, as well as with the local people of China; creating more conditions for the development of Chinese language centers; creating opportunities for farmers to access the Chinese market; encouraging members to actively participate in activities and emulation movements launched by the government and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, contributing to building the great unity bloc of the whole people.

In a serious working atmosphere with a high sense of responsibility, the first Congress of Thanh Binh Commune Vietnam - China Friendship Association Branch, term 2023-2028, successfully completed the entire proposed program. The Congress elected the Association Branch's Executive Committee consisting of 9 people. Mr. Liu Chi Khin - Director of Thanh Binh Chinese Language Center, held the position of the Association Branch’s  Chairman.

On this occasion, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of the province awarded 10 scholarships to 10 students from Thanh Binh, Bau Ham and Song Thao Chinese Language Centers.
