On December 29, 2022, the Provincial Union of
Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the Provincial Department for Ethnic
Minority Affairs and the People's Committee of Dinh Quan District, the People's
Committee of Tan Phu District held the Handover Ceremony of the project
"Building 3 houses of friendship for ethnic minorities" funded by Les
Enfants du Dragon (France) with a total cost of more than 200 million VND.
Attending
the Handover Ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Khang - Head of Provincial Department
for Ethnic Minority Affairs, officer in charge of foreign non - governmental
affairs division under the provincial Union of Friendship Organizations,
representatives of departments and sectors of Dinh Quan district, Tan Phu
district, beneficiary households.

to hand over the house of friendship to a household in Dinh Quan district
At the
ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khang - Head of the Provincial Department for Ethnic
Minority Affairs, on behalf of the sponsor, announced and transferred the
Decision to hand over the house of friendship to the households and
congratulated them on having a new and more spacious place to live, helping the
families stay safe and settle down their lives. Representative of the
provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Tran Thi Mai, an official of
the non –governmental affairs division also expressed her gratitude to Les Enfants du Dragon for their cooperation with the Union of Friendship Organizations and
districts and cities in the past time to
develop many voluntary activities and build houses for households with
difficulties in Dong Nai province. She hoped to continue to receive more
attention and cooperation from sponsors in the coming time.
The sponsor's representative, although unable to attend the Ceremony
due to the busy schedule at end of the year, also sent greetings to the
households, and wished that this gift in early Spring would help the
beneficiary households have a warm and happy Tet holidays. The organization
also thanked the authorities at all levels, the Union of Friendship
Organizations of the province and partner agencies of Les Enfants du Dragon in Dong Nai for their coordination and
direction sothat the project has been completed and hoped to continue to
receive support and help from the local government when implementing Les
Enfants du Dragon's next projects in Dong Nai in the coming time.
