On the morning of
November 11, 2022, at the Dong Nai Radio – Television, the Dong Nai Union of
Friendship Organizations in collaboration of the Unions of Friendship
Organizations of cities and provinces in the Southeast and neighboring regions
of the Emulation Cluster No. 4 organized the Friendship Melodies Festival in Dong
Nai in 2022 towards the celebration for the 72nd Anniversary of the
Traditional Day of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (November 17,
1950 – November 17, 2022).
On

of the Emulation Cluster No. 4 organized the Friendship Melodies Festival in Dong
Nai in 2022 towards the celebration for the 72nd Anniversary of the
Traditional Day of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (November 17,
1950 – November 17, 2022).
At the Festival, there were Mr. Nguyen Tat Do -
Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai
province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Trang - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party
Committee's Propaganda and Education Commission, Ms. Bui Thi Bich Thuy - Deputy
Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, representative
leaders of the provincial departments, commissions, sectors, unions and
friendship associations; leaders of the Unions of Friendship Organizations of
cities and provinces in the Southeast and neighboring regions of the Emulation
Cluster No. 4 and more than 200 artists, actors and actresses who are members
of Unions of Friendship Organizations of provinces and cities.

The Jury and Secretaries of the Festival
The
Friendship Melodies Festival among the Unions of Friendship Organizations of
cities and provinces in the Southeast and neighboring regions of the Emulation
Cluster No. 4 was held for the first time in Dong Nai, on the basis of
promoting the success of the provincial Friendship Melodies Festival debut
since 2020. This is a cultural and art exchange activity for amateur artists
who are members of the Friendship Associations - members of the Unions of
Friendship Organizations of cities and provinces in the Southeast and
neighboring regions of the Emulation Cluster No. 4. The Festival aims to pay
tribute and spread the values of peace, friendship, and beauty of the
countries and people in the world to a large number of members in the system of
the Union of Friendship Organizations.
Participating
in this year's Festival were representatives of the Unions of Friendship
Organizations and art teams of 09 provinces and cities of Emulation Clusters No.
4 including: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Ben
Tre, Tien Giang, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, with 20 special performances at
the Festival.
The jury are excellent musicians, artists,
singers with good expertise, prestige, experience and understanding of cultural
and artistic movements at grassroots levels such as: Meritorious Artist Tran
Vuong Thach - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians’ Association, Former
Director of the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) - Head of
the Jury. The Jury’s members include: Musician Hoai An - Member of Vietnam
Musicians’ Association, Member of Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Music
Association; Meritorious Artist Dong Thi Que Anh - Director of Dong Nai
Province's Traditional Arts Theater; Meritorious Artist, Choreographer Lam Bao
Thinh - Member of Vietnam Dance Artists Association; Master of Arts in Vocal
Music Nguyen Ngoc Khoa - Member of Vietnam Musicians’ Association.

After the Festival, the Jury also selected 07 outstanding performances
representing the Unions of Friendship Organizations of the cities and provinces
in the Southeast and neighboring regions (Emulation Cluster No. 4) to
participate in the Cultural Exchange Festival with the Consulates General of
countries in Ho Chi Minh City on November 12, 2022 at The Mira Central Park
Hotel.
