On the morning of
October 15, 2022, at Dong Nai University of Technology, the Vietnam - US
Friendship Association of the province held a talk on Vietnam - US friendship relations
and launched the Vietnam - US Friendship Association Branch at Dong Nai
University of Technology. At the event, there were leaders of the Union of
Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam - US Friendship Association of the
province; the Board of Directors and more than 300 delegates who are officials,
lecturers, students and members of the Vietnam – US Friendship Association
Branch at Dong Nai University of Technology.
The Vietnam – US
Friendship Association Branch at Dong Nai University of Technology is chaired
by Ms. Phan Vo Quynh Nhu, the University's Vice Rector, with 50 members who are
staff, lecturers and students of the University. In the coming time, the Friendship
Association Branch will focus on building the organization and developing its
members, strengthening the cooperative relationship with departments, and agencies
in the province to well implement the activities of the Friendship Association
Branch. In addition, the Friendship Association Branch will organize
commemorative activities and friendship exchanges among the University’s
students and those of American Educational Institutions.

At the event, Assoc.
Prof. Dr. Tran Nam Tien - lecturer at Faculty of International Relations, Ho
Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University,
shared with students and members about the relationship friendship between
Vietnam and the United States after nearly 30 years of the establishment of
diplomatic relations; the important milestones in the history of the
development of friendship relations between the two countries.
