​On implementation of Instruction No. 66 - HD/ BTGTU dated April 21, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, and Instruction No. 105/ HD – MTTQ - BTT dated April 28, 2022 of the Standing Board of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province on "Propaganda to celebrate the 120th Birth Anniversary of Comrade Phan Dang Luu (May 5, 1902 - May 5, 2022)";

On May 2, 2022, at the progress meeting of the week, at Union of Friendship Organizations (Friendship Union), Ms. Bui Thi Lieu – Party Secretary of the Friendship Union informed and propagated to cadres, Party members, civil servants and employees about the life, career, revolutionary activities and merits, great contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation of comrade Phan Dang Luu; at the same time, educate the patriotic tradition, arouse the national pride; encourage the people of all classes, especially the young generations to follow the example of comrade Phan Dang Luu and the typical senior leaders of the Party, to study and work hard, contributing to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels, the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress (term 2020 - 2025) and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Comrade Phan Dang Luu (1902-1940).

Brief biography of Comrade Phan Dang Luu: He was born on May 5^th, 1902 in Eastern village, Hoa Thanh commune (formerly Trang Thanh commune), Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, in a family of Confucianists with patriotic tradition. He was a shining example of revolutionary will and spirit; an exemplary communist personality; the steadfast, heroic, indomitable communist soldier with his whole life devoted to the country, filial piety to the people, not interested in fame and gain. Phan Dang Luu's "typical revolutionary intellectual" quality is reflected in his important contributions to building the revolutionary line for national liberation and solving specific challengings of the revolution such as building forces, propagandizing and mobilizing the masses, directing mass movements to fight openly and semi-publicly in an exciting and drastic period of the Vietnamese revolution before the August Revolution in 1945, an example of indomitable sacrifice before the enemy's gun. In the field of journalism, Phan Dang Luu made important contributions, becoming one of the typical proletarian journalists of the Vietnamese revolution.

After the meeting, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Friendship Union better understood the background, career and noble personality of Comrade Phan Dang Luu; at the same time raising awareness and revolutionary ideals; arousing patriotism, self-reliance, national pride, striving to fulfill assigned tasks and professional work, contributing to the successful realization of political and economic goals and economic, social targets.
