On April 6, 2022, the Provincial Union of
Friendship Organizations in collaboration with the People's Committee of Bien
Hoa City received the delegation of Korea Food for the Hungry International
(KFHI) and Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex (SEHC) Co., Ltd. to work and conduct
a survey for the implementation of the Samsung Hope School project.
Attending and receiving the delegation were Mr.
Nguyen Thanh Tri - President of the Provincial Union of Friendship
Organizations, Ms. Bui Thi Lieu - Vice President of the Provincial Union of
Friendship Organizations, Mr. Nguyen Duy Tan - Vice Chairman of the Bien Hoa
City People's Committee.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged information about the progress of
project documentation and procedures and the date for the Groundbreaking
Ceremony of the Samsung Hope School project (the construction expected to start
at the end of May in 2022).
Mr. Park Sun Jong, Chief Representative of KFHI/South Korea - Vietnam
Program Chief Executive thanked Leaders of Union of Friendship Organizations of
Province and People's Committee of Bien Hoa City for welcoming the delegation.
At the same time, he asked the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations to support
the procedures so that the project could soon be implemented as planned.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri - Chairman of
the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations expressed his gratitude to the
sponsor for their interest in implementing the Samsung Hope School project in
Dong Nai province. He shared that the project will be speeded up so that it can
soon be implemented as planned.
known that the with the Samsung Hope School project, KFHI and SEHC has
implemented and built 03 schools in Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh and Bac Giang
provinces which are well – equipped and put into operation effectively. The
Samsung Hope School project in Dong Nai is the first school that KFHI and SEHC
have deployed in the Southern area, with a total investment of more than 22
billion VNĐ. The project will support about 500 poor students in the vicinity
of Tam Phuoc ward, Bien Hoa city to learn skills (foreign languages,
communication, sports, culture...), contributing to improve learning conditions
for students in difficult circumstances and poor students in the locality;
thereby contributing to the development of local education.

came to survey the proposed campus of Samsung Hope School at the Center for
Culture, Sports and Public Study in Tam Phuoc Ward and visit Tam Phuoc 3 Elementary
