​On January 26, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of the province organized a delegation to visit and presenting Tet gifts to 30 Lao students studying at Universities, Colleges in the province, including: Dong Nai Medical College, Dong Nai University of Technology, Lac Hong University and Dong Nai University.

According to Mr. Do Dang Tuoc, Chairman of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of the province: “Every year, the Association regularly organizes meetings and shares the joy and encourages Lao students studying in the province on the occasion of holidays. In this year's Lunar New Year, students have more school – days off , but due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic, many Lao students do not return to their hometown. The visit and gifts of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of Dong Nai province has shown concern and spiritual encouragement, helping Lao students to ease their homesickness.
