​On the morning of November 9, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations donated medical equipment and supplies worth more than 2.2 billion VND to the Department of Health in support of Covid – 19 pandemic prevention and control.

The number of medical supplies includes 07 portable ventilators, 05 sets of multi-function nursing and hospital beds and bedside cabinets, 2000 N95 medical masks, 200 medical protective clothing suits – level 4, 3000 sets of Covid-19 rapid test kits) worth more than 2.2 billion sponsored by Latter - day Saint Charities (LDSC) whose headquarter is located in the United States.

 

Ms. Bui Thi Lieu - Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations on behalf of the LDSC/USA presented medical equipment and supplies to the Department of Health.

According to Vice Chairperson of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations Bui Thi Lieu, although Dong Nai province has applied Directive No. 20/CT-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee, "Carefully adapt,  flexibly and effectively control the COVID-19 pandemic" and have loosened business and production activities, but still have to comply with strict pandemic prevention and control measures. However, the pandemic situation in the province is still complicated, the number of cases is still increasing in the community. The LDSC's assistance at this time is a practical and meaningful source of support for the health sector of Dong Nai province.
