​On the morning of September 24, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations handed over 2000 anti-droplet face shields and 145 protective clothing suits – level 4 (total value of 55 million VND) to the provincial Department of Health for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic. The above medical supplies were mobilized by the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and sponsored by the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI/USA) and Cooperation and Participation in Overseas NGOs (COPION/Korea).

Previously, World Vision Vietnam (WVI-V) sponsored Dong Nai province with protective supplies, medical masks and antiseptic solutions, worth 14,993 USD. Taiwan Trade Association in Dong Nai province supported 07 high-performance ventilators, used for adults and children. The Medical Committee Netherlands –Vietnam ( MCNV) supported 10 patient monitors.

According to Vice President of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, Ms. Bui Thi Lieu, in recent months, the pandemic situation in Dong Nai province has been complicated. The timely support of foreign non-governmental organizations not only contributes to sharing and encouraging the People of Dong Nai in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic, but also demonstrates the solidarity and friendship between the Peoples of the countries and the People of Dong Nai province.
