According to Mr. Tran Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Association, in recent years, the Association has organized a number of outstanding activities such as: set up a delegation to visit and congratulate the Consulate General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia; mobilized and organized to give 250 gifts to disadvantaged members of the Association on the occasion of the Lunar New Year. In addition, activities at district-level Associations and affiliated branches also achieved many practical effects such as the meeting on the occasion of the 42^nd Anniversary of the victory of the Southwest border defense war organized by the Association branch of the former experts; the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association Branch of Cam My district coordinated and supported the delegation of military attaché and the Cambodian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to visit the Cambodian Martyrs Cemetery at the historical site of ​​ Unit 125 in Long Giao Commune, Cam My district. In addition, the organizational development of the Association has made many progress: The Inter-Association branch in Long Thanh district was established with 14 sub-branches including 464 members; Vinh Cuu District Union has 06 sub-branches with 250 members. 17 sub-branches continue to be established under the Inter- Association branch of Trang Bom district; 04 sub-branches belongs to the Association branch of Bien Hoa City.

In 2021, the Executive Board of the Association focuses on completing a number of key tasks such as: launching articles on the years of fighting, working in the cause of defending the Fatherland and solidarity and friendship among the Peoples of the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia; establishing the Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Businessmen Club; continuing to establish Union branches in localities and colleges and universities where Cambodian students are learning; establishing a Branch at the Provincial Intermediate School of Culture and Arts; by the way, to organize rehearsals of musical performances in the unique identity of the Khmer people; keep on creating a better coordination relationship with the Consulate General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City; promoting the Program "Nourishing the friendship", organizing exchange activities among Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam international students.

At the meeting, the members of the Executive Committee discussed and contributed ideas on the development of the Association's organization, focused on proposing the Provincial Association to have specific orientations to develop the activities of the Association branches at grassroots level, the management and implementation of membership fee collection. In particular, in 2021, the Association will also focus on supporting the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association branch in Cam My district to successfully organize the 2^nd Congress.
