On November 30, 2017, Dong Nai Uninon of Friendship Organizations (the Union) in coordination with the Provincial Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Association (the Association) celebrated the Kingdom of Thailand’s National Day. Ms. Ureerat Ratanaprukse – Consul General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of Dong Nai’s departments, sectors, unions and members of the Association attended the event.

Delivering her speech at the ceremony, Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh, the Union’s Chairwoman, showed her expectation that via the event the association members and Dong Nai people would understand more about Thailand and Thai people, at the same time, set up friendly relations with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City and Thai enterprises being operational in the province.

Responding to the Union’s Chairwoman, the Consul General highly valued the Union’s and the Association’s activities in recent years and asserted that the Consulate General would make its efforts to promote cooperative activities between Dong Nai Province and the Thai Government in such fields as economics and people’s external relations, to name but a few in order to enhance the friendship as well as the strategic relation between the two countries.​
