​On the morning of May 18, in order to share the difficulties and support the Cambodian people in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of the province organized a delegation to offer 15,000 masks to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City.

Receiving the delegation were Mr. Sok Dareth - Consul General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City and members of the Consulate General.

Mr. Sok Dareth - Consul General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City received the masks from Mr. Nguyen Van Kinh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of the province.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association Nguyen Van Kinh said that in order to share a part of the difficulties as well as promptly support Cambodian people in the prevention and control of the increasingly complicated Covid-19 pandemic in the current time, the Association has mobilized officials and members in the province to donate 15,000 medical masks to the Cambodian people through the Consulate General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, it is hoped that the Government and people of Cambodia will soon successfully control the pandemic, gradually stabilize and develop the country.

This is the cemetary of sacrificed Cambodian soldiers during the period against the Pol Pot genocidal regime and the Consulate General annually organizes delegation to visit that Memorial site. He hoped that with the friendly exchange activities between the Association and the Consulate General, the traditional friendship relationship between the two peoples would be further tightened.
